![]() I'd go back strictly for a pedicure, but that would be it. I should have stuck with the place that I've been going, because for the $7 difference and time that I lost. ![]() I will NOT be going back, at least never for any type of manicure. I've done this many times and like the versatility for times that I want a neutral nail. I am not satisfied with this at all and I explained to him that I wanted a shiny finish not done with polish, but for the acrylic to have a shiny finish, so I could opt to either wear no polish or to polish them. Whenever I have gotten any type of overlay (gel, acrylic) it has been a shiny finish, NOT dull and rough. I went back to get them polished, since it took so long to do the manicure. Please focus on your client at hand and not the distractions around you, so that you can get them in and out and on their way.Update as of 10/18/16: Took 2 stars rating off based on the manicure/overlay done on my fingers. I was late for a date, because I was not sure when I would finally be done. Please be considerate of your client's time. My pedicure took less time than my manicure and she did a better job as my feet were looking rougher than hell when I came in and she performed a miracle. If they read this, I hope they understand that your customers time is just as important as yours. Again, I'm not sure if it was the day that I went, but I have never been at any nail appointment for over 3 hours. It was a date night and I was due to go to dinner, but I was running a lot later than expected. He finished the gel overlay, but did not even have time to polish my nails as I had already gone over more time than I allotted to get those services done. I was in his chair sitting there for the remainder of that time for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Once they finally left, it quieted down some, but this manicure took so long that his additional family began to arrive. He stopped quite a bit to talk to people and those 2 white females were still there.talking to everyone.which I think was distracting. He goes through the process of removing any remnants of the old overlay, soaking, filing and so on to add the new overlay. He motions for me to take a seat once he finishes with his other client. ![]() If they're there next time that I'm going for a pedicure, I'll leave and return another time when they are NOT there, so I'll be able to enjoy my time in peace. I noticed them when they were finishing their feet and I was in the beginning of my pedicure. Backstory: there are 2 older, big, heavyset white females from Ohio whom I think are sisters that were talking to pretty much everyone, one (the teacher) is a tad bit more chatty than the other (but both were EXTREMELY TALKATIVE and LOUD the entire time) and she was talking about another client that had stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. It took about 45 minutes, so between my waiting time of 30 minutes, I had been there 1 hour and 15 minutes by then.I had to wait for about 10 minutes for the gentleman, whom I believe was the owner to finish with his client. She actually gave me a good pedi, she took the time and effort to ensure that any dry areas on my feet were taken care of. I'm not sure if that is typical, but I wish I would have known, because it messed up the plans that I had thereafter.I enjoyed the lady that did my pedicure and I'm not directing any of this at her. However, I was there for a total of 3 and 1/2 hours and that's my issue. I got there at 6pm and had to wait for about 30 minutes, I wasn't concerned with having to wait. ![]() This was on a Saturday in which they close at 8pm. Yes, I needed a pedicure and a manicure, but I was there for over 3 hours.
